ANOTHER THING: Endertale is an AU, an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, even if it mostly takes place after the events of Undertale, there are still differences from the canon, such as Frisk's DETERMINATION beginning to fail after many resets.
Calling people out for making Chara evil in AUs goes right over the line for me. There's AUs that make all the monsters evil pieces of shit (e.g. Predatortale, Underfell), there's AUs where the entire situation and/or mechanics is/are changed (Outertale, X-Tale), so an AU where Chara is an evil piece of shit is not out of the question.
As someone who believes that Chara is not an evil piece of shit, I only don't like it when people interpret Chara to be responsible for the entire Genocide run in canon Undertale, ESPECIALLY when they use that to vindicate the player, as that, to me, goes against Undertale being a deconstruction of video games, particularly your typical RPG. And it's not like YOU actually do that, anyways.
