though I'm still mostly offline, I managed to catch the premier of TLG and I wanna write a review of what I thought.
I really liked it, might not be a surprise to some since it takes a lot for me to dislike something. I do have maybe one or two issues with it, but I thought it was a refreshing addition to a dormant series.
Kion was very cute, I like his personality a lot and I look forward to seeing him more, even Bunga was oddly endearing for me. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the guard in the upcoming series.
Though at first seeing Kiara with more sass made me a bit nervous, I actually like the way they made her a little more serious with her job, and she had some pretty good lines as well and I'm excited for the sibling banter between her and her brother. The idea that she teases him probably because she worries that he doesn't take things seriously leads to a lot of possibility. And might I add
...in your face people who claim she's dumb!
the songs were fine, catchy, a little silly but I don't hold anything against them since they're for kids.
the story is a good one that isn't dumbed down for younger kids like a lot of Disney Junior shows, though some things are repeated a bit too much they aren't afraid of having characters hurt or mention the K-word (We're gonna un-alive them! - Deadpool )
and for those who say it doesn't fit anywhere in the lion king story arc it obviously takes place in the middle of Simba's pride, most likely after Kiara's encounter with Kovu, it would also explain why Kion and Kiara are bigger than the average cub size in the movies, they're probably drifting from cub to adolescent, at least that's my take on it. We didn't have all the questions answered but we'll most likely get more answers in the upcoming series. and if you're still pissy about that then just pretend this is an AU or something, it really doesn't matter
now the things I didn't like...Zuri was annoying, and the fart jokes...c'mon Disney, you're classier than that >~< we don't know much about Tiifu but she was alright from what I did see.
so yeah, overly optimistic views on my part, if you go in with an open mind and lower expectations I think you'll find some things you'll like, just remember that it is meant for younger kids.
if you don't like it, that's just fine, but please...just let the ones who do like it be, and be mature about it....*laughs hysterically*

Hey, i just wanted to say sorry if I ever come across as aggressive or angry, too intimidating to interact with, I’m trying to be better with any emotional outbursts I might have about things. I know there’s people out there that really see me in a bad light so I hope I can be better, a lot of my past demons or interactions from past fandoms do come back to haunt me at times, hopefully I can keep making series that you can enjoy
need a bit of help w (emergency commissions?)
I hate to even ask for this since I haven't had to deal with this before but, long story short rent has kind of screwed me over, something wasn't made aware to me about a month of rent and now I need to pay essentially two-month's rent in one now I've never done emergency commissions before so I have no idea what I should be asking for? I have the weekend to work on some commissions that won't wreck my wrists so maybe I could do some pokemon? head shots? full backgrounds might be a lot but I guess it depends on the background I have my Ko-Fi here for payments but please, any advice you can give would be a big help https://ko-fi.com/tckofi
join the collab?
open collab time again, this time we're calling out to people with animation experience to join in :D if you're interested check out the video and description, they'll give you all the info you need
just venting, feel free to ignore
"Please don't use my cub designs for Kiara and Kovu's cubs" "no this is my design, she just happens to be orange and named Asha who's a child of Kiara and Kovu." "no I've never heard of another Kiara and Kovu cub named Asha, now excuse me while I look at all the pictures I have of your Asha in my favourites collection and block you" and people wonder why I've grown so resentful of the lion king community. I know coincidences exist but this is getting kind of ridiculous

Ohoho, the k-word was in the Hungarian version, even a slang version was used. x))) I know this review is quite old now, but, hey, I just wanted you to know about it. x)))
